Bampton Packaging has signed a new 6 year deal to replace its existing delivery fleet with Sherwood Truck & Van Ltd.  . The deal will strengthen Bampton’s philosophy of operating its own fleet in order to meet its customer’s often stringent delivery requirements. The new Iveco vehicles will replace its current fleet with a 12 tonne rigid curtain-sided Euro Cargo, a 12 tonne Curtain-Sided Rigid Euro Cargo Wagon with 8m optional trailer and a 36 tonne Stralis tractor unit. The trailer to accompany the tractor unit will be supplied by Charthire Ltd. The range of vehicles provides us with the flexibility to meet our customer’s needs. Due for delivery in September and liveried to reflect the newly – introduced corporate identity, the arrival of the new lorries will mark the completion of the transition to our new image. Production Director David Williams said “Given the reliability of the current fleet of Iveco vehicles and the very good service delivered by Sherwood over the years, we are pleased that Sherwood were able to provide the right option in the face of severe competition”.
