We manufacture a wide range of packaging at our warehouse in Nottingham, using various materials to provide the most appropriate solution for your packaging requirements.
Export Packing
We offer a packing service, which can either take place with us on-site or at your facility. This service ensures that your goods are secure and ready for your chosen shipping method.
Defence Packing
As an MPAS certified supplier, our packaging and packing services are trusted by the Ministry of Defence (MOD), upholding the highest standards to ensure each shipment is protected and compliant with all regulations.
Our Process
Step 1
Consultation
The consultation stage is crucial as it lays the foundation for the entire project/customer requirements. The goal of this phase is to understand the customer’s specific requirements, including:
Purpose: What is the case for? Is it for transportation, storage, display, or protection?
Customisation Needs: Does the customer need custom compartments, specific materials, or unique branding features (e.g., logos or colours)?
Size and Dimensions: What are the specific measurements or capacities required? How much weight does the product need to hold?
Design Preferences: The customer might have preferences regarding aesthetics, functionality, and specifications.
Step 2
Design
Once all the details from the consultation are clear, the design process begins. This is where our team of designers create the visual and technical specifications for the case. The drawings will be passed on for approval to the customer, and once checked, will be passed on to production.
Step 3
Production
With the design signed off, our warehouse team will begin the manufacturing process. This phase involves:
Cutting Material: Materials are cut to match the design specifications.
Assembly: Components such as compartments, hinges, locks, handles, and custom fittings are assembled together.
Customisation: If the customer has requested additional features like logo stencilling, or unique finishes, these are added during production.
Quality Control: As the case is being produced, thorough quality checks are performed to ensure the case is built to last and adheres to the agreed-upon standards.
This process also includes the export packing, if required.
Step 4
Delivery
Once the project is complete and ready for delivery, this will be carefully handled by our professional drivers, utilising Bamptons’ own fleet of well maintained vehicles to ensure timely and safe transportation.
