Packaging Almanac

An Introduction to the Packaging Almanac

Unless the recipient of any goods is involved in package design, the chances are that the packaging of those goods will only be noticed if there’s a problem with the condition of the contents, and that’s how it should be.

But it may not only be the product that’s damaged – your reputation as a supplier may also be affected.

We all know that recommendation is one of the most potent marketing tools available, and poor recommendation can impart a negative influence on a Purchaser’s decision to buy, so getting the packaging right is important.

In this section of our website we aim to provide you with an overview of the conditions that may need to be catered for, the types of packaging that are available, their strengths and weaknesses and their suitability for any application.

The information provided in this section of our website is drawn from our vast experience in the design and supply of packaging for industrial applications, and is not primarily aimed at retail, point of sale or food packaging – these are areas outside of our expertise. If you have a query in relation to such an application and don’t know where to start, please call us and we’ll happily try to point you in the right direction.
